We know how important it is to keep your pet moving, to sustain a good quality of life, and get them back on their feet again after an operation or injury. There are many reasons why your pet’s mobility may be affected, but we are here to help and support them and you.

Physiotherapy is used to treat a range of injuries, deformities and diseases to help improve recovery from surgery, through movement, and a range of methods such as electrotherapies, heat treatment, massage and exercise. Its aims to stimulate the body’s natural healing process, restore mobility and function, whilst reducing pain.

Physiotherapy can also be an important part of the rehabilitation process after orthopaedic surgery.

Physical therapy treatments include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Exercised based rehabilitation
  • Core strengthening and conditioning
  • Massage

Call us or email us to make an appointment to discuss your pet’s physiotherapy needs.
