Regular check-ups for your pet are important to ensure their health and wellbeing is in the best shape it can be. Whatever their age, whatever their personality, we want to ensure they stay fit, happy and healthy.

In your consultation, our vet or nurse will discuss your pet’s general health and daily routines, before giving them a full clinical examination. This preventative approach really is the best way to ensure we give your pet the best care.
Your appointment will include, but is not limited to:
- Parasite check and advice
- Weight check and advice
- Review of general wellbeing and behaviour
- Check of general physical condition
- Listen-in to heart and lungs
- Skin and coat examination
- Examination of eyes and ears
- Movement and mobility
- Teeth and gums examination
- Anal glands
You may not have visited a veterinary practice recently (or at all if you’re a new pet parent) but not to worry, with our health check, we’ll get your pet on the right track to living their best life!
This free health check is available to all family pets who are newly registered to Leadon Vale Vets and have not been seen by one of our vets or to registered pets that have not been to the practice in the last 2 years.
