Carys is an experienced veterinary surgeon, known for her gentle, kind, and compassionate approach to every patient in her care.

She holds two postgraduate qualifications in diagnostic imaging: a General Practitioner Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging and a Postgraduate Certificate in Elements of Diagnostic Imaging. These advanced skills allow patients requiring specialist imaging to undergo scanning here at the practice, without the need to travel for external referral.

Carys routinely performs cardiac and abdominal ultrasonography, musculoskeletal ultrasound, X‑ray imaging and interpretation, as well as interpretation of CT and MRI studies.

In addition to her imaging expertise, Carys is a qualified veterinary acupuncturist and chiropractor, offering these complementary therapies alongside shockwave therapy.

She is also an experienced surgeon, carrying out procedures ranging from routine neuters and laparoscopic (keyhole) spays to emergency soft‑tissue surgery.
