We are advising clients to consider postponing routine appointments such as vaccinations until next week when temperatures maybe lower. Especially if they have cardiac or respiratory disease, are elderly or young they are at a higher risk of heatstroke, complications and even collapse.
Brachycephalic breeds with flatter faces and narrower noses are at a much higher risk of complications in the heat.
