The Dog Friendly Clinic Scheme is a collaborative project between Dogs Trust and the British Veterinary Behaviour Association.
Our membership to the scheme shows our commitment to making your dog’s visit as stress free as possible. This is acheived with our calm approach, use of tools such as licky mats and adapting our approach to dogs as individuals- for instance examining them outside. For some patients, the use of pre-appointment calming medication can help ensure a stress-free visit.
Leanne, our Clinical Director has a strong interest in canine behaviour and has lead the scheme. She is currently studying behaviour modules and regularly passes on her knowledge to the rest of the team.
