Denise began her career with Leadon Vale as a receptionist in 2021 before progressing into the role of Patient Care Assistant, later qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2025.

She brings a kind and caring approach to every patient in her care. With a strong interest in consulting, Denise is responsible for delivering a wide range of nurse clinics at Leadon Vale.

Denise primarily offers nurse consultations on Mondays and Tuesdays, providing appointments for routine procedures such as medication injections, nail clips, and post‑operative check‑ups, as well as more in‑depth clinics covering mobility and weight management.

On the one day each week that she is not consulting, Denise enjoys inpatient care of hospitalised patients and monitoring those under anaesthesia.

Looking ahead, Denise hopes to become a clinical supervisor, supporting and mentoring student veterinary nurses as they develop their skills.
